Nature: Automatic Fire Alarm – Residential Structure

Location: 32615 Seaview Loop Long Neck Shores, DE 19966

On Tuesday afternoon, December 23rd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a residential alarm sounding incident on Seaview Loop in the Long Neck Shores development off Bay Farm Road. It was reported to be a foyer smoke alarm activation.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crews were able to make contact with the residential occupants and identified a culinary mishap (burnt eggs) prior to arrival of emergency apparatus and the homeowner desired to cancel.

All emergency response units were permitted to return to their respective quarters.
