Nature: Crash Notification – Property Damage – Traffic Control Assistance

Location: John J. Williams Highway and Long Neck Road

On Sunday, December 21^st, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company assisted the Delaware State Police with a traffic accident on John J. Williams Highway at the Long Neck Road intersection.

Emergency apparatus from Indian River included Brush 80 and Utility 80 which were returning from a prearranged event and offered traffic control assistance with a vehicle accident.

Traffic was temporarily rerouted at the intersection to allow the Delaware State Police and Mid Sussex Rescue Squad to mitigate the property damage incident

EMS services were declined and the Delaware State Police coordinated the incident at hand.
