Friday December, 19 2025Nature: Gumboro Christmas ParadeOn Friday evening, December 19th, a collaborative effort of the Auxiliary and Fire Company for the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company participated in the Gumboro Christmas Parade.The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company hosted a float theme “Have a Holly Dolly Christmas" with emphasis on Don’t Let Your Christmas Go Up In Smoke. Special appearances by Indian River's fire dog mascot, “The Grinch” and Joyce Bowden impersonating Dolly. The apparatus utilized included the 2024 Pierce Saber Pumper and Utility 80-8.The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company hereby acknowledges and “thanks” Gumboro for hosting such an event.Best Wishes and Merry Christmas to all! |
