Nature: Residential Structure Fire - Standby Assignment - Millsboro (83)

Location: 51 Spencer Ct Millsboro, DE 19966

On Sunday morning, December 14^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to provide a stand-by assignment for the Millsboro (83) Volunteer Fire Company that was actively working at a residential structure on Spencer Court in Millsboro.

An emergency response unit from Indian River included Tanker 80 with a fully qualified crew to cover their respective fire district while Millsboro (83), Dagsboro (73) and Georgetown (77) mitigated the incident at hand.

This stand-by crew responded and assisted with restoring apparatus back in-service after Millsboro's apparatus returned  from the fire scene.

These assignments reference mutual-aid agreements between the departments that are designed to provide needed resources and to support each other in times of need.
