Nature: Automatic Fire Alarm Sounding – Leland Avenue - Walden

Location: 25222 Leland Av Walden, DE 19951

On Thursday morning, July 10^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm involving a residential structure. 

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard Facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crews were cancelled while responding to the incident based upon a second call back and discussing with the residential occupant(s) and providing the proper passcode for cancellation as well as identifying this was a new fire alarm system.

Engine 80 continued to the residential structure and Tower 80 was returned to their respective quarters.
