Nature: Automatic Crash Notification

On Saturday evening, July 5th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic crash notification on Grove Circle Road in the White House Beach development off Long Neck Road. 

Emergency response units evaluated the area for a vehicle accident but was able to identify a vehicle accident or a dropped cellular phone in the area.  All emergency response units were cancelled and authorized to return to their quarters and the incident was marked as “unfounded”.

Our hope is to increase awareness within our immediate fire district to mitigate the quantity of these unwanted / unfounded automatic crash notification incidents.
