On Saturday, July 5th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm involving a commercial structure.  Illustrated below is an incident synopsis:

A commercial fire alarm sounding at Baywood Turf Management Complex was reported at approximately 2:18 a. with Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility responded to the incident.

The cause of the alarm activation was the fire pump lost pressure causing the fire suppression system to drain. After evaluation and discussion with Pot Nets Security all apparatus was authorized to return to their quarters.
