The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for multiple trash or small outside fires:

During the late evening and early morning hours of Friday July 4^th into Saturday July 5^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to two trash fires (small outdoor fires) at the two boat ramps in the Pot Nets Communities.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Incident Command 80 and Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Brush 80 from the Long Neck facility.

The first incident was located at the bath house at the end of Pine Brine Road at the public beach area near the bath houses and boat ramp in Pot Nets Bayside.

The second incident was located at the boat ramp in the boat ramp in Pot Nets Creekside.

All fires were extinquished and reviewed with Pot Nets Security.
