On Friday morning, June 20th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm sounding on Hammerhead Drive in the Stonewater Creek development off Indian Mission Road.  It was reported as a residential fire alarm activation inside the structure.

Emergency response units included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crews were advised that the residential occupants were contacted via callback and identified that contractors were on location working but did not have any rationale for the alarm incident.

After discussion with the residential occupants and evaluation of the interior of the facility, all apparatus were returned to their respective quarters.
