Nature: Medical Emergency

City: Pines At Long Neck

On Monday afternoon, May 12th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a medical emergency which necessitated a landing zoning assignment.  The landing zone was designated to be near the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad on Indian Mission Road.

Emergency response units from Indian River were returning from an earlier gas leak incident in the Pot Nets Bayside development and responded directly to the designated landing zone location.  Additional emergency alerts included the Delaware State Police Trooper 2 Aviation Unit.  Additional emergency alerts included the Sussex County Paramedics and the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments were all cancelled because aviation was not needed.
