Night closures begin April 21st for Route 24 intersection

ANGOLA, Del. - Drivers in the Angola area should prepare for nighttime lane closures and a new traffic pattern in Angola as the Delaware Department of Transportation begins the final phase of the Route 24 intersection improvements at Angola Road and Robinsonville Road.

The project is set to start on Sunday, April 21, and continue through Sunday, May 19. Work will occur nightly from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Route 24, Angola Road and Robinsonville Road. Crews will complete milling, overlay and apply final striping and signage during this final stretch of the project.

DelDOT reminds motorists to slow down in work zones and expect minor delays while traveling through the area.

Expect night time lane closures in the area of John J. Williams Highway and Robinsonville Road from April 21-May 19 as the final phase of construction is completed.
