Nature: Automatic Fire Alarm Sounding – Residential Location

Location: 31404 Riverwood Rd Stonewater Creek, DE 19966

On Tuesday afternoon, March 25th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm sounding on Riverwood Road Drive in the Stonewater Creek development off Indian Mission Road.

Emergency response units included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments and units were cancelled while responding to the incident location as per the homeowner and the Sussex County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) after proper passcode information was provided.

Engine 80 was on location of the incident location and discussed the concern with the homeowner after cancellation of all emergency response apparatus and personnel.

All units were cancelled and returned.
