Nature: Vehicle Accident

Location: Indian Mission Rd and Friendship Rd Millsboro, DE 19966

On Tuesday, March 11^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company and the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad was alerted for a vehicle accident on Indian Mission Road near Friendship Road.  It was reported to be a two vehicle MVC with one person desiring to be evaluated.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility and the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignment included traffic control where needed, patient evaluation where needed and other incident mitigation efforts before being cleared to return to quarters.

It appears that grey Chevrolet SUV was on the shoulder of the roadway when a blue Jeep SUV vehicle struck the front right quarter panel and door of the Chevrolet.  Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
