Nature: Appliance Fire

On Saturday afternoon, March 8^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an appliance fire on American Avenue in the Sun Retreats – Rehoboth Bay development which was formerly known as Leisure Point.  It was reported to be an oven fire.

Emergency response units included Incident Command 80 which was apprised of the incident specifics knowing that the fire was out and the occupants desired to have an evaluation completed.

Upon additional communications with the Sussex County Emergency Operations Center, the occupants confirmed that the fire was extinguished and did not desire any additional evaluation.

All emergency response units were held at their respective station and/or cancelled while responding to the incident location.
