Nature: Vehicle Accident

Location: Indian Mission Rd and Dania Dr Millsboro, DE 19966

On Friday afternoon, March 7^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company and the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad was alerted for a vehicle accident on Indian Mission Road near Dania Drive.  It was reported to be a two vehicle rear-end type collision.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization, fluid and debris recovery, patient stabilization where needed, traffic control and overall incident mitigation efforts.

It appears that grey Infinity G37X sedan struck the rear of dark grey Jeep SUV causing significant damage to both vehicles.  Both vehicles continued onto the shoulder of the adjacent lane where the Infinity hit a tractor type vehicle in the yard.  All occupants refused any additional medical services.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control with the closure of Indian Mission Road. 

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
