Nature: Automatic Crash Notification – Vehicle Accident

Location: ITAO - 31064 Beach Cove Dr Stonewater Creek, DE 19966

On Monday, March 3^rd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company and Mid Sussex Rescue Squad were alerted for an automatic crash notification on Beach Cove Drive in the Stonewater Creek development off Indian Mission Road. 

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police and the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad.

Emergency response crew assignments included patient stabilization where needed, vehicle stabilization where needed and overall incident mitigation.  There were not any reported injuries and all units were permitted to return to their respective quarters.

It appears that a gray Chrysler Town & County Minivan left roadway hitting the fencing around the playground area before striking some the recreational equipment.

The Delaware State Fire Police assisted with traffic control before being released.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
