Nature: MVC – Rollover Involving a Four Wheeler Incident

Location: Waters Edge Trl and Green Rd Millsboro, DE 19966

On Thursday afternoon, February 27^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a motor vehicle accident a rollover incident with the four wheeler all terrain vehicle.  Additional emergency alerts included the Delaware State Police Aviation Unit – Trooper 2, the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad, and the Sussex County Paramedics.

Emergency response unit from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included patient stabilization where needed, traffic control and overall incident mitigation efforts.   Many incoming first responder units were cancelled before arrival.

It appears that a off-road all terrain 4-wheeler was involved in altercation resulting in a vehicle rollover off of Green Road. 

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
