Nature: Inservice Training – Sprinkler System & Automatic Alarm Theory
Location: Oak Orchard Facility
On Wednesday evening, February 26, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company hosted is monthly training effort to discuss and review Sprinkler Systems and Automatic Alarm Theory which is intended to ensure the safety of occupants within buildings as a paramount importance.
One critical aspect of these safety management objectives is the integration of fire sprinkler systems with fire alarm systems. While they both serve distinct purposes, their seamless integration can significantly enhance overall safety by providing early detection, rapid response and effective control of fire emergencies.
This training session was coordinated by Duane Fox, Instructor with the Delaware State Fire School. Approximately 30 volunteer fire company personnel attended this training session.
The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company hereby acknowledges the efforts of the Delaware State Fire School to conduct such an informative educational session.
