Nature: Gas Leak

Location: 32692 West Carteret Ct., Captains Grant, DE 19966

On Wednesday morning, February 26^th, the Indian River (80) and Millsboro (83) fire companies were alerted to the assist the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad and the Sussex County Paramedics with a suspected gas leak incident inside a residential structure.  The EMS providers requested the fire department assistance at the residential location.

Emergency response units to respond to this gas leak incident was Engine #80 which departed from an earlier incident in the Pelican Point development.  The Millsboro Fire Company was alerted to assist Indian River with the mitigation efforts of this incident. 

Emergency responders completed an exterior evaluation before commencing with the interior evaluation as well as shutting off the gas services to the residence.
