Nature: Automatic Fire Alarm – Residential Structure

Location: 26247 Cricket Cv Pot Nets Lakeside, DE 19966

On Sunday, February 16^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm on Cricket Cove in the Pot Nets Lakeside development off Long Neck Road.  This incident was an automatic fire alarm sounding.

Emergency response units included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included an exterior evaluation of the residential structure. 

It was determined that this incident was the result of a culinary mishap.

All units were cancelled.
