Nature: Structure Fire

Location: 24682 Shoreline Dr Stonewater Creek, DE 19966

On Saturday evening, February 15^th, the Indian River (80), Lewes (82), Millsboro (83) and Milton (85) fire companies were alerted for a structure fire on Shoreline Drive in the Stonewater Creek development off Indian Mission Road.  Additional emergency alerts included the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad and the Sussex County Paramedics.  It was reported to be a structure fire at the location of an earlier incident in the week.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Command 80, Tower 80, Tanker 80 and Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included an initial exterior evaluation which identified a small fire on the second floor of the structure.  Assignments included Tower 80 to set up and initiate a fire suppression line via the front the structure and Engine 80 was to provide water to the aerial truck.  All other units not on-scene could return to their respective quarters with much gratitude.

This incident involved a small fire on the second floor of the residential structure.
