Nature: Commercial Fire Alarm

Location: 27295 Cottage Rd White House Beach, DE 19966

On Friday morning, January 24th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a commercial fire alarm sounding at the White House Beach Maintenance Compound on Cottage Road. It was reported to be a commercial fire alarm sounding.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Incident Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included incident mitigation efforts with discussion with occupants, exterior evaluation nothing evident and an interior evaluation which yielded a faulty detector.

The commercial occupants were present upon arrival of emergency response personnel and assisted with the interior evaluation. 

All emergency response units were authorized to return to their respective stations.
