Nature: Residential Fire Alarm Sounding

Location: 27012 Harbor Rd Pots Nets Bayside, DE 19966

On Thursday morning, January 23rd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a residential fire alarm sounding on Harbor Road in the Pot Nets Bayside development. It was reported to be a residential fire alarm sounding.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Incident Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility as well as Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included incident mitigation efforts with discussion with occupants, complete exterior evaluation with nothing evident and an interior evaluation.

The rationale for the alarm sounding was the result of a faulty detector.

All emergency response units were authorized to return to their respective stations.
