Nature: Structure Fire – Assist Rehoboth Beach (86)

Location: 2064 Ramblewood Dr S., Fieldwood, DE 19971

On Saturday, January 18^th, the Indian River (80) and Lewes (82) fire departments were alerted to assist the Rehoboth Beach (86) Volunteer Fire Company with a working residential structure fire.  First arriving emergency response units identified smoke showing from the roofline with confirmation of a fire in the kitchen (Side C) with propane utilities on the C/D corner.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments were to report to the manpower pools for specific tasks as delegated.  Apparatus were assigned to stage awaiting water supply tasks as necessary.

Additional information regarding the incident may be published via Rehoboth Beach as the incident was within their respective fire district.

The Delaware State Fire Police assisted with traffic control as needed.

The American Red Cross was notified to assist with the displaced occupants.

The Delaware State Fire Marshal is investigating.
