Nature: Fire Alarm Sounding – Residential

Location: 28375 Clark Av Riverdale Beach, DE 19966

On Thursday, January 9th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm with an audible hall alarm sounding.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Incident Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility as well as Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility.  Additionally, the Delaware State Fire Police responded to assist where needed.

Emergency response crew assignments included incident mitigation efforts, exterior evaluation of the residence as well as discussion with the homeowner who was changing the hallway battery. 

All emergency response units were authorized to return to their respective stations.
