Nature: Structure Fire

On Wednesday, December 25th, the Indian River (80) and Millsboro (83) fire companies were alerted to assist the Georgetown (77) Fire Company with a residential structure on Zoar Road. It was reported to be a building / structure fire.
Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility.
Initial arriving emergency response units from Georgetown Fire Company, identified an appliance fire that was spreading in the kitchen area. Fire suppression measures were implemented with the overall emergency response being downgraded to only Georgetown (77) units.
All other emergency response units were permitted to return to their respective quarters.
