Nature: Alarm Sounding

Location: 26853 Diver Duck Dr Pot Nets Seaside, DE 19966

On Sunday afternoon, December 8^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding incident on Diver Duck Drive in the Pot Nets Seaside development off Long Neck Road. It was reported to be a general fire alarm sounding.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Tanker 80 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included an exterior and interior evaluation which identified the incident was the result of a culinary mishap.

After discussion with the residential occupant, it was determined to be a culinary mishap incident.

All apparatus were authorized to return to their respective quarters.
