Saturday December, 7 2024Nature: Lewes Christmas ParadeLocation: LewesOn Saturday evening, December 7th, the collaborative effort of the Auxiliary and Fire Company for the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company participated in the Lewes Christmas Parade.The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company hosted a float theme “Don’t Let Your Christmas Go Up In Smoke”, its fire dog mascot guided by “The Grinch” and some apparatus which included the 1968 Mack R Model Pumper, the newest traffic control unit, and a utility truck.Illustrated herewith are some memorable moments during the parade, float committee activities as well as impromptu photos during the parade staging and parade route.The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company hereby acknowledges and “thanks” the Town of Lewes for hosting such an event.Best Wishes and Merry Christmas to all! |
