Nature: Multi Residential Fire

Location: 26110 Milby Circle, The Villas At Walden, DE 19951

On Tuesday, December 3^rd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a multi-residential structure on Milby Circle in the Villas at Walden off Sloan Road. It was reported to be an electrical malfunction with a wall outlet.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Tanker 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included an initial exterior evaluation and an interior evaluation which determined no additional extensions and identified the electrical issue with the respective outlet smoking.

The homeowner was apprised of the situation and offered remedial actions to pursue regarding resolution.

All respective units were authorized to return to their quarters.

The Delaware State Fire Police assisted with traffic control where needed.
