Monday December, 2 2024Nature: Rehoboth Beach VFC Hometown Christmas ParadeLocation: Rehoboth BeachOn Monday evening, December 2nd, the collaborative effort of the Auxiliary and Fire Company for the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company participated in the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company Hometown Christmas Parade.The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company hosted a float theme “Don’t Let Your Christmas Go Up In Smoke”, its fire dog mascot guided by “The Grinch” and some apparatus which included the 1968 Mack R Model Pumper, the newest traffic control unit, and a utility truck.Illustrated herewith are some memorable moments during the float committee parade as well as impromptu photos during the parade staging and parade route.The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company hereby acknowledges and “thanks” the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company for hosting such an event.Best Wishes and Merry Christmas to all!Additional information regarding the parade may be viewed at the following websites:(1) Cape Gazette News - https://www.capegazette.com/article/rehoboth-beach-welcomes-santa-claus/284541#&gid=1&pid=1(2) Rehoboth Beach VFC -
