Saturday, November 30, 2024Nature: Indian River Creates Fire Prevention / Safety Float for local paradesLocation: Oak OrchardOver the past few weeks, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company has jointly collaborated with designing and preparing a parade entry for the upcoming holiday parades within our mutual aid response area.This collaborative effort is with the members of the Auxiliary and Fire Company to promote camaraderie and goodwill as well as promoting fire prevention and fire safety during the upcoming holiday season.The theme of the float is “Don’t Let Your Christmas Go Up in Smoke” – utilizing working smoke detector and partake in fire safety measures.Illustrated herewith are various photographs of the collaborative efforts. |
