On Thursday morning, November 28th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding incident at a residence on 18^th Blvd in the Peninsula off Bay Farm Road. It was reported to be a fire alarm sounding at the residential location.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included an exterior evaluation, discussion with the residential occupants before cancelling the alarm. 

It was determined that the alarm sounding was silenced without proper passcode which necessitated the on-location evaluation.  All responding units were authorized to return to their respective quarters.
