Nature: Alarm Sounding

Location: 33332 Marina Bay Circle, The Peninsula, DE 19966

On Tuesday evening, November 19th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding incident at a residence on Marina Bay Circle in the Peninsula off Bay Farm Road. It was reported to be an audible automatic fire alarm sounding at the residential location.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included an exterior evaluation, discussion via cell phone with the residential owners authorizing an interior evaluation, before cancelling the alarm.  It was suggested that the property owners contact their alarm service provider for a consultation.

It was not determined what the alarm sounding was affiliated with at time of fire company evaluation.  All responding units were authorized to return to their respective quarters.
