Sunday November, 17 2024 @ 08:47Nature: Structure FireLocation: 20335 Harbeson Rd Harbeson, DE 19951On Sunday morning, November 17th, the Indian River (80) and Lewes (82) were alerted to assist the Milton (85) Fire Department with a working residential structure on Harbeson Road. It was reported that a Delaware State Police Trooper was on location with heavy smoke showing with everyone being out of the structure.Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.Emergency response crew assignments included fire suppression activities as assigned, establishment of a water supply shuttle, and overall fire ground assistance as needed and directed. Both Engine crews were directed to the manpower pool.On-scene emergency response crews advised that propane and utilities were on side “C” with a one-story residential structure heavy fire showing with extensions into a detached garage building.
