Nature: Alarm Sounding

Location: 33362 Mercer Ave / 33362 Grove St Millsboro, DE 19966

On Thursday evening, November 14^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding incident at a residence on the corner of Mercer Avenue and Grove St.  It was reported to be some type of alarm going off inside the structure believed to a smoke detector.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included an exterior evaluation with a 360 review, locating the utilities and updated status with no change in conditions, interior evaluation without identification of sound or alarm.

After evaluation it was not determined what the sound was and it was not sounding at time of fire company evaluation.  All responding units not on location were cancelled.
