Nature: Child Locked in a Vehicle

Location: 32058 Riverside Plaza Dr Riverside Plaza, DE 19966

On Monday, November 4^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a child locked in a vehicle on Riverside Plaza Drive off Oak Orchard Road.  It was reported to be a one year old child locked in a vehicle and the vehicle was not running.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Command 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Brush 80-0 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included extrication via vehicle lock-out equipment and assistance from the child attempting to depress the lock and unlock buttons.

All emergency response units were permitted to return to their respective facilities.
