Nature: Alarm Sounding

Location: 32163 Apple Ridge Rn Seabrook, DE 19966

On Thursday, October 31st, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding incident on Apple Ridge Run in the Seabrook development off Autumn Road. It was reported that alarms were sounding within the residential structure and could not identify any rationale for activation.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Tanker 80 from the Long Neck facility.

The Incident Command provided in an initial synopsis after performing a complete 360 evaluation and identified utility locations and incident conditions with nothing evident before commencing an interior evaluation.

Emergency response crews continued with an interior and exterior evaluation of the residential structure and was unable to identify any source of concern.  The property owner(s) were apprised of the status update with suggestions to contact a licensed repair person.

All units were permitted to return to their respective facility.
