Nature: Alarm Sounding

On Thursday morning, October 31^st, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding incident at the Boys & Girls Club of Oak Orchard-Riverdale off Oak Orchard Road. It was reported that water flow alarms were sounding within the commercial structure.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility but were returned after consultation with facility employees.

The Emergency Operations Center provided an initial synopsis after being advised of a callback and being informed that maintenance personnel were on location performing systems pump test.  Indian River personnel authorized the cancellation of the incident.

All units were permitted to return to their respective facility.
