Nature: Alarm Sounding

Location: 16215 John Adams Lane Patriots Glen, DE 19966

Early Thursday, October 24th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding incident on John Adams Lane in the Patriots Glen development off John J. Williams Highway.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility.

The incident was reviewed with a callback to the residential occupant and identified that the owner is onsite and there is no fire, no smoke and no one cooking – everything appears to be fine.  Tanker 80 and Engine 80 did respond to the incident location for evaluation and discussion with the residential occupants.

All emergency response units were permitted to return to their respective quarters.
