Monday, October 7, 2024Nature: Engine 80-3 Departs for Montezuma, GeorgiaLocation: 32628 Oak Orchard Road, Millsboro, DE 19966On Monday, October 7th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company assisted with the packaging and loading Engine 80-3 onto a low boy trailer for transportation to its new home in Montezuma, Georgia.Just after 5 pm on October 7th, Engine 80-3 departed Indian River – Station #1 for the last time.Indian River purchased Engine 80-3 in 2007 and this unit has proudly served Indian River for the last 17 years. It will now commence service at its new home within the Macon County Fire Department in Montezuma, Georgia. |
