Nature: Vehicle Fire

Location: 34164 Indian Cabin Creek Rd., Pots Nets Bayside, DE 19966

Early Friday morning, October 4^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle fire on Indian Cabin Creek Road in the Pot Nets Bayside development.  It was reported as smoke coming from under the hood.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization and evaluation where needed. 

It appears that a silver Nissan Maxima was showing smoke from under the hood which resulted from the vehicle overheating.  There was not suppression activities needed.

All units were permitted to return to their respective locations.
