9TH PARADISE GRILL 'STOP-DROP & RUN' 5K - Long Neck, DE
On Sunday, September 22nd, the 9th Annual Paradise Grill “Stop-Drop & Run” 5K was held to benefit the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company.
Illustrated herewith are a few photographs of the Seashore Striders and Paradise Gill’s event.
Course Description: Flat & Fast & 2 to choose from...both courses start at the same starting line and 1/4m into the race the courses split and you can go right to take in the "water" course or you can go straight to take in the "woods/off-road out & back" course. The courses come back together at 2.6 miles for a dash to the finish. Very unique and the only event in Delaware that does this to my knowledge.
Additional information may be viewed at:

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was able to host a fire prevention booth and an apparatus display for Tower 80, Engine 80, Utility 80-11 and Chief 80-15.
The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company offers a “Thank you” to the Paradise Grill and Seashore Striders for the invitation as well as thanking everyone for pursuing such a wonderful event.
A sincere "thank you" is extended to all organizers, vendors, participants and attendees.
