Nature: Auxiliary of the Delaware Volunteer Firefighters Association – Hall of Recognition Induction & DVFA 50 Year Recognition

Location: Rehoboth Beach Convention Center

On Tuesday, September 17th, the Delaware Volunteer Firefighter’s Association (DVFA) and the Ladies Auxiliary of the DVFA held their Joint Opening Ceremonies for the 29th Annual Conference at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center. During this event various members of Delaware’s fire service and auxiliary associations were recognized.

The Auxiliary of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company is pleased to announce that Leolga T. Wright was recognized for more than 50 years of service with the Auxiliary and was also inducted into the Auxiliary’s Hall of Recognition for her devotion and dedication to the volunteer fire service and her community.

This nominee has served in many capacities and performed many functions without even being asked.  This volunteer has continually achieved and accomplished the success of the endeavor without fanfare and much ado.  Since joining the Auxiliary, Leolga has devoted countless hours to this organization and community and has become an instrumental resource for many recruits to seek reference and guidance.

Leolga has devoted more than 50 years of service to the Auxiliary of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company as well as assisting in the community with a variety positions and activities such as:
