Nature: Alarm Sounding

Location: 28232 Sloop Av Pots Nets Bayside, DE 19966

On Monday afternoon, September 16th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic alarm in a residential structure on Sloop Avenue in the Pot Nets Bayside development off Long Neck Road.  It was reported as the alarms were going off inside the residence.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Tanker 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crews coordinated an initial evaluation and discussion with the residential occupants and cancelled all other responding apparatus.  Construction contractors were on-sight working. 

All units were permitted to return to their respective quarters.
