Nature: Carbon Monoxide Detector

Location: 29638 Perching Ct Peninsula Lakes, DE 19966

On Wednesday morning, September 11^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a carbon monoxide detector sounding incident on Perching Court in the Peninsula Lakes development of Bay Farm Road.  It was reported to be a CO detector incident at the residential location.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Tanker 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included a completed 360 evaluation of the building with location of utilities and no change in conditions.  A crew was assigned to perform an interior evaluation as well.

The incident was reviewed with the residential occupants and determined to be a faulty detector.

All emergency response units were permitted to return to their respective quarters.
