Nature: Vehicle Accident

Location: John J Williams Hwy and Legion Rd Millsboro, DE 19966

On Tuesday evening, September 10^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on John J. Williams Highway in the vicinity of Legion Road. It was reported to be a two vehicle rear end type collision.  Additional emergency response units included the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility, Engine #80-1 and Incident Command from the Long Neck area as well as the Delaware State Fire Police. 

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization, patient stabilization if needed, fluid and debris recovery, as well as traffic control for the duration of the incident.

It appears that a blue Toyota and a red Chevrolet Corvette collided on John J. Williams Highway approaching the Legion Road intersection.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
