Nature: Alarms - Commercial Structure

On Monday, August 26^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a commercial structure smoke detector activation on Silicato Drive in Long Neck.  It was reported to be an alarm activation concern within the business establishment.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility, Tanker 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response units performed an exterior evaluation and interior evaluation and found no issues or concerns and did not smell any odors.  Previously, there was an aerosol can being sprayed in the facility which may have caused the activation.

After evaluation, all responding units were permitted to return to their respective quarters.
