Nature: Alarms - Residential (Single) - Smoke detector

On Saturday, August 24^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a residential smoke detector activation on Medallion Avenue in the Peninsula off Bay Farm Road.  It was reported to be a downstairs smoke detector activation.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Incident Command 80 from the Long Neck Area and Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility.

Emergency response units were cancelled or held at the fire stations based upon Incident Command after discussion it was identified as a culinary mishap.
