Nature: Structure Fire

On Friday morning August 16^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a commercial structure fire at Brick Works Brewery on Silicato Drive in Long Neck.  It was reported to be an incident involving fire coming out of an oven and the commercial sprinklers were activated.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Tanker 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included an exterior 360 evaluation and an interior evaluation of the facility.  Crews found a no fire condition because of the sprinkler activation however there was water intrusion in the facility.  Fire company personnel assisted the commercial occupants with mitigation efforts before being returned to respective quarters.
