Nature: Alarm Sounding

Location: 31484 River Rd Millsboro, DE 19966

On Tuesday evening, August 6th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company for an automatic fire alarm sounding at a residential structure on River Road near Oak Orchard.  It was reported to be a general alarm sounding incident at the residential structure location.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Tanker 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police..

Emergency response crew assignments were cancelled while responding based upon a callback verification with the home occupants and proper passcodes identified. 

All emergency response units were permitted to return to their respective quarters.
